AMERICAN WWII ORPHANS NETWORKFounded in 1991 by Ann Bennett Mix, and headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, AWON is comprised of several hundred members from all over the nation – sons and daughters and other family of Americans left with a void after World War II.

COMMONWEALTH WAR GRAVES COMMISSIONEstablished by Royal Charter in 1917, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission pays tribute to the 1,700,000 men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the two world wars. It is a non-profit-making organisation that was founded by Sir Fabian Ware.

MEDAL OF HONOR CITATIONSThe President, in the name of Congress, has awarded more than 3,400 Medals of Honor to our nation's bravest Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen since the decoration's creation in 1861.

MILITARY ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEARTThe organization now known as the "Military Order of the Purple Heart," was formed in 1932 for the protection and mutual interest of all who have received the decoration. Composed exclusively of Purple Heart recipients, it is the only veterans service organization comprised strictly of "combat" veterans.
